Founder & CEO

Dr Annette Shiell

Dr Annette Shiell is a distinguished historian and curator whose most recent role was Executive Manager Collections and Cultural Projects at the National Trust of Australia(Victoria). Her career is defined by a passion for storytelling, social history and materialculture, ranging from her academic research into 19th-century charity bazaars to her
curation of major public exhibitions like Doll House: Miniature Worlds of Wonder. A recognised leader in the heritage sector, she is currently Vice President of the Ephemera Society of Australia, a Member of the Yarra Arts Advisory Committee and a recent board
member of the History Council of Victoria. Dr Shiell’s publications include: Fundraising, Flirtation and Fancywork: Charity Bazaars in Nineteenth Century Australia, Bonzer: Australian Comics 1900–1990s, Australians and the Monarchy (edited with Peter Spearritt) and The Lie of the Land.

Giacomina Pradolin

Giacomina Pradolin is a prominent arts leader who recently concluded a nearly decadelong
tenure at Bayside City Council (2016–2025) as the Arts and Culture Coordinator, where she spearheaded key initiatives like the Melbourne Sculpture Biennale and major public art commissions. Her extensive career includes executive leadership roles such as General Manager of the Koorie Heritage Trust, where she managed its relocation to Federation Square, and Director of the Linden Centre for Contemporary Arts. With a background in Visual Arts and Cultural Heritage from Monash and Deakin Universities,
she is a respected figure in strategic policy and gallery management across Victoria.

Jane Scott

​Jane Scott is an experienced arts leader with over 40 years of engagement managing premier Australian cultural institutions and driving national arts policy. She was the Director of the Perc Tucker Regional Gallery in Townsville, Horsham Regional Art Gallery,
TarraWarra Museum of Art and the Monash Gallery of Art and her career includes highprofile roles as the CEO of Regional Arts Australia, CEO and Artistic Director of Craft Victoria, and Senior Curator of the Access Gallery at the National Gallery of Victoria. Her
influence extends from local community projects, such as her lead curatorial and management work on the social impact exhibition Flesh After Fifty, to international diplomacy during her tenure as the Cultural Attaché at the Australian Embassy in
Washington DC.

Nicole Theodore

Nicole Theodore is a Melbourne-based arts manager and designer with a diverse background spanning fashion, heritage collections, and performance. A graduate of the Victorian College of the Arts in Production Design (Set & Costume) and the University of Melbourne in Arts and Cultural Management, she has built a career that balances creative execution with strategic operations. Her costume design credits include productions for Melbourne Grammar School (Macbeth) and Ivanhoe Grammar School (Return to the Forbidden Planet), along with a costume workroom internship at the Melbourne Theatre Company. Beyond the stage, she has held significant roles such as Senior Project Officer for Collections at the National Trust of Australia (Victoria) and Arts and Heritage Curator for the Victoria Racing Club and she previously operated and owned the boutique fashion store Tin in Prahran.

Tanya Williams

​Tanya Williams is an Art, Heritage and Project Management Specialist with more than 30 years’ experience across museums, cultural institutions, and racing heritage organisations. Qualified in Fine Art, Museum Studies, and Project Management, she
specialises in exhibition development, curatorial research, heritage interpretation, digital content, and project delivery. Tanya has worked with leading organisations including the National Trust of Australia, Melbourne Museum, Arts Centre Melbourne, Victoria Racing Club, and Melbourne Racing Club. She is recognised for her specialist expertise in Australian thoroughbred racing heritage, contributing to major heritage initiatives, curatorial projects, exhibitions, and published historical features for the racing industry.
